the reason i picked this painting this week was to show the various values of lighting that Ms.d'Errico puts into her subjects,especially their hair.While also usually adding either an element of nature or technology.In this picture she used the bees as her nature element.

 I chose this painting to blog about because i found that this artist used the oil paints to their full potential and made not only a beautiful but lifelike piece. This was one of many art pieces that were made for the Hello Kitty 50th anniversary art show which was showcased earlier this year in LA.
